The plot thickens...
Osterferien)
Translated version:
In Multplayer, BCS forces a custom Holidays.txt with important holidays if a map has missing holidays in their Holidays.txt - Easter is one of them. It may also happen if the map has an up-to-date Holidays.txt but I'm unsure.
This overriding is all good and well, but has a big problem: In time zones that are behind the German one, for some reason all holidays are moved forward by a whole day, which is likely a bug related to the exact time holidays begin. This related to system time of the user, not the time of the company.
I tested the following scenarios:
- If OMSI is started without BCS, the maps that are mentioned above have no mentions of any Holidays around the times that they have them in BCS MP - furthermore, 'in BCS Singleplayer there are also no Holidays.
- To counter test, I temporarily set my system time to GMT+2 (current German time zone) and took a tour in MP, and OMSI and BCS once again matched the timetables. As soon as I changed my system time back to my normal time, it was mismatched again.
I'm aware that it's Easter - but this is a problem that causes and has caused issues for British companies, like lost revenue and cancelled tours - therefore it's a problem that needs to be resolved soon. I should also mention that it's about specific days like Good Friday and not periods like Easter Holidays.
