Hello all,
We are Dristur and Zenix, a 16k subscribers YouTuber and a 32k subscribers YouTuber, and two OMSI2 players. We’ve created a common company in Bus Company Simulator in order to join our 2 communities and share a common and unique game experience with our subscribers.
However, there’s a problem ! Indeed, actually, the Bus Company simulator has a problematical feature : The minimal required rank of a campany is automatically defined.
Therefore, to join our company, members of our communities need to be at least level 10,
what’s huge !
According to this model, each new driver has to drive a lot in new companies before to be able to chose the one he wants. We don’t share this view of what should be a multiplayer feature in the simulation’s world.
Besides many of our subscribers only bought the DLC in order to join our comany and play with us or other players they met in our communities.
We suggest two solutions to solve this problem :
Firstly, removing this feature can be a solution, and certainly the most real because in real life, a company owner can hire who he wants : a young new driver as well as an experienced one. That’s the enterprise’s freedom.
But it would be throwing hours of work so there is another solution :
Create 2 categories :
• The "professional" companies, in wich the joining processus would work with the current system.
• The "arcade" companies in which ones the choice of the minimal required rank is totally free and determined by the company owner.
This system could accommodate the players as well as the comany owners.
